A day in the life of me:
Some days I may be supervising onsite work and others I could be surveying new projects or defining scope of works and signage/lighting proposals.
Before starting at Xmo Strata:
I started my working life as a plasterer before becoming a design technician for an architect in Gravesend. I then worked for a sign installation and manufacturing company, Colorlux, before embarking upon eight years with Forge The Signmakers Ltd. I joined Xmo Strata in 2004.
The thing I most enjoy about my job:
I enjoy making projects work. There is a great sense of achievement in seeing a project through from initial point of contact to completion. It's good to see a happy customer!
The thing I dislike most about my job:
Getting up early and being away from my family. I have two young children who seem to change rapidly even while I'm out at work!
Training courses completed while at Xmo Strata:
UK PIA/Safety Passport, PASMA, First Aid, Managing Stress and SMSTS.
