Electrical work
Xmo Strata provides a full range of electrical contracting including commercial electrical wiring and periodic testing.
The company has NICEIC hazardous area accreditation - the qualification needed to carry out electrical work on petrol forecourts and in hazchem environments.
All electricians are accredited to City and Guild qualification C&G2382. Test and inspection engineers are also accredited to C&G2391.
All electrical work is completed to the Institute of Electrical Engineers 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2008).
Crews of both sign and electrical engineers are managed by the same operations team.
City and Guild qualification descriptions:
- C&G2382:
- This qualification succeeded C&G2381 / 2380 in July 2008. This ensures compliance with the 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations of 2008.
- C&G2391:
- The certificate in Inspection, Testing, Design and Certification of Electrical Installations, and “satisfies the NICEIC's requirement that prospective qualifying managers and operatives fully understand, and comply with, the requirements of BS7671 for inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations”.
