Xmo Strata Poised For Recession
29 December 2008
Sign installation and maintenance company Xmo Strata has beefed-up its Vicom sign refurbishment operation to help value-conscious customers on the brink of a recession.
The company is the exclusive UK license holder of the Vicom system, a revolutionary method of sign refurbishment that restores the sign to its original colour, provides UV protection and offers a 10 year warranty.
The system is designed to help signs last longer and retain their original customer-pulling power - and the company says it is significantly more effective than older rival systems on the market.
The company has now trained dedicated applicators as part of its sign maintenance workforce on the Vicom system and has generated impressive results for some very satisfied customers.
Xmo Strata has recently commissioned research work which shows that only 8% of marketing managers in retail companies expect their sign budgets to increase this year (most expect it to remain static but 32% are predicting a reduction).
“Vicom is a product whose time has definitely come,” said Managing Director Steve Martin. “Customers need to be more competitive, more attractive to customers, and need to fight for footfall harder than they have done for years. Yet at the same time there is clear pressure on the sign budgets.
“It's a product for recession in many ways - and inquiries have increased significantly since the credit squeeze began,” he added.
