Xmo Strata Is The ‘First Stop’ For Bridgestone Refurbishment

8 July 2008

Nationwide sign installation and maintenance company Xmo Strata, is joining Bridgestone UK to celebrate the extension and refurbishment of its first flagship store.

The company was brought in to manage the exterior signage and interior fit-out of the image change for Kingsway Tyres, part of the Bridgestone group of tyre dealerships. This project represents the start of planned refurbishments across the 'First Stop' network nationwide.

“Our aim is to create an appealing environment for customers throughout the new flagship outlets, including new reception areas and M.O.T offices,” said Mark Fereday, Retail Development Manager at Bridgestone UK. “Xmo Strata was able to source and fit all exterior signage, and manage the interior refit of furniture and merchandising units, an essential element of the new image change.”

“The professionalism and efficiency of all Xmo Strata staff made it possible for us to work to very tight deadlines. We are now using the company on further Bridgestone projects in the UK,” added Mr Fereday.

A Formula One show marked the unveiling of the revamped site in Spalding, with the chance for customers to have their photograph taken with the Bridgestone Formula One car.

“Bridgestone is investing a significant amount in the re-development of stores nationwide,” said Kate Parmentier, Xmo Strata Operations Manager. “The opening of the new site proved to be a great success and we are pleased to have contributed to such an important phase of the project.”

Xmo Strata offers a nationwide service and tailors projects to include sign installation and maintenance, painting and spraying, electrical work, periodic electrical testing and sign refurbishment.
