Xmo Strata takes ABB/Coteba/ExxonMobil award

2nd April 2007

Sign installation and maintenance company Xmo Strata has won its second customer award in as many months.

In February, the company won the BP Global Alliance Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Industry; at the end of March, the firm won the Tiger Performance Award at the ABB / Coteba / ExxonMobil Annual Safety Meeting held at the Baylis House Hotel in Slough.   The award is part of the contractor safety recognition programme.

Company Secretary Kate Spencer-May, who accepted the award on behalf of Xmo Strata, said:  “ABB, Coteba and ExxonMobil all take health and safety extremely seriously, and that makes the award particularly valued.   It is a compliment to all our teams, not just the managers, that customer-side senior managers felt that we were worthy winners.”

The health and safety conference involved workshops and discussions in a group environment and is designed to maintain supplier focus on health and safety issues.
