Health & Safety Day 2011
On December 9 2011, Xmo Strata held its annual health and safety awareness day at the Hilton Hotel in Maidstone, Kent.
Having downed tools for the day, the company's entire workforce (including approved sub-contractors), plus invited VIP guests, travelled from all over the UK to attend.
The main focus points of the event included:
- A look-back over the safety performance of the workforce in 2011
- Interactive exercises on how safety is learned and communicated
- The use of video as a learning aid (including feedback on further videos for 2012)
- The outcome of internal/external auditing
- Stress management and a new service available to employees
- 2011 safety recognition awards
This event saw the biggest ever attendance and Xmo Strata would like to thank its VIP guests for supporting, and actively contributing to, a very successful day:
