Health & Safety Day 2008
A record number of employees, sub-contractors and customers attended the 2008 Xmo Strata Safety Day held at Kent's Turkey Mill conference venue in Maidstone. All attendees were willing to participate wholeheartedly and contribute to the continued efforts of the company to create an even safer working environment.

The 2008 safety day involved:
- A presentation and practical workshop from John Williams of Marigold Industrial - looking at suitable hand protection
- An introduction to Xmo Strata's new initiatives for 2009
- A presentation on Lock Out, Tag Out and the importance of risk assessments
- A selection of video footage including real-life examples of workplace hazards
- An overview of the company's safety achievements in 2008
- A prize-giving of Xmo Strata Safety Recognition awards
