German Contractor Restricted Work Incident

We encourage you to continue to report all potential incident and near misses and as you will know from the copies you receive, each report is investigated and lessons learnt where they can be. If we are unable to deal with the problem ourselves, the report is issued to the client with a request for them to investigate further.

Clearance Certificates
As part of an unplanned site audit an Xmo team were identified as having completed the clearance certificates without input or approval by the site representative. Although they were working safely, this is a breach of section 12 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulation 1999.

Weather Warning
At the time of writing the UK Met Office have issued no weather warnings for the rest of this week. However, for next week they are predicting "unsettled and often windy across northern and western parts, with gales or perhaps severe gales at times", it is therefore likely that we will see further severe weather; wind, rain or snow in the next few weeks and you should pay close attention to local weather forecasts before travelling.

Winter Driving
We are now back to work after hopefully having enjoyed a festive break with the family. Driving is the single most dangerous thing that most of us do everyday and it's pertinent to start the new year off with a reminder of this.
