Please see below a self explanatory Safety Alert from Exxon Mobil.
This shows the dangers of removing your gloves for any purpose.
If you think you need to remove your gloves to carry out a task, then there is a problem with the JSA, or with the glove, so contact your supervisor and ask for guidance.
Please also spend some time to read through all JSAs and send us suggestions on how they can be improved, e.g. examples of where the glove type is inappropriate, or where steps have been missed out - each suggestion that is implemented is worth ten points in the Hearts and Minds New York completion!
Remember, it's never OK to take your gloves off whilst working on-site, even for a second.
