At a recent Health & Safety Review Day there were a few minor concerns raised as to the lack of ankle protection offered by Rigger Boots.
This issue was raised at Xmo Strata’s monthly Health & Safety Review Meeting in order to discuss the concerns and possible risks of limited protection.
After due consideration, it was concluded that Rigger Boots presented very little risk, and as such, it would not be commercially viable to cease using them.
However, our issue policy was revised as a consequence with immediate effect, and all boots issued are now ankle-high safety boots, offering improved ankle support.
If you feel your work environment needs additional protective clothing, make sure you discuss this at the earliest opportunity.
